We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software and creating exceptional user experiences for educators, school administrators, and parents.
Review product requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify test scenarios.
Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
Conduct end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.
Validate complex business workflows, configurations, and data scenarios.
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success teams to understand user needs and business processes.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
Provide early feedback on requirements to prevent defects before development begins.
Advocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
Improve testing processes, documentation, and QA best practices.
Help establish quality metrics and release readiness criteria.
Contribute to building a culture of quality across the organization.
Support investigation and reproduction of customer-reported issues.
2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or manual testing.
Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
Experience testing web-based applications.
Experience creating test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Experience testing SaaS products.
Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Understanding of APIs and tools such as Postman.
Experience with SQL and basic database validation.
Exposure to test automation concepts and tools.
Experience working with education technology products.
In your first 6 months, you will:
Become a subject matter expert on key LittleLives workflows.
Independently test and sign off product releases.
Reduce production defects through comprehensive test coverage.
Partner effectively with Product and Engineering teams to improve release quality.
Help strengthen QA processes and standards across the organization.
